Ever since our Tomorrow Trilogy crowdfunder ended unsuccessfully last year, we’ve been inundated with messages from fans asking us to try again. It’s been a tough decision, because the whole point of our crowdfunders is to establish whether there is (or isn’t) a community of fans willing to support each title. However, many of you made the valid point that had we had longer to reach fans and – crucially – not been beset by technical challenges (some fans couldn’t open the link on the old crowdfunding platform), we may have made it… so we’ve made an exception and are trying for a second time to bring back The Girl from Tomorrow. This time on Kickstarter (where we’ve now successfully funded two books) and at a slightly lower target. If you’d like to support the project, please visit:

If anyone’s not familiar with the programme, it was a classic Australian sci-fi series made by Film Australia and broadcast by the BBC in the early 90s. It was about a girl from the year 3000 who gets kidnapped and stranded in 1990. It was truly ahead of its time, being a female-led show that talked about climate catastrophe and dystopian futures, long before it was fashionable. We’re republishing the original books, so you don’t have to have seen the series, along with a new sequel, set 35 years later and written by the series creators. If you fancy reading about two middle aged women saving the world and rekindling their teenage friendship, we’d be incredibly grateful for your support!
Thanks so much!
